TAO Website

 

PURPOSE:

To provide a method for members of TAO to obtain information regarding the policies, operation, events & schedules as well as provide a resource for information from other outside agencies & organizations that affect or are related to archery.

Definitions, Technical Information, Access Credentials:

URL (Uniform Resource Locator), Host contact, FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program and Access
Credentials (Password and User Name) are confidential and will be stored in corporate Minutes held by
the President, V.P., and Secretary.

 

The Interim.html website, taoregon.com, will provide document control and backup measures to insure
the Intellectual Property (Organizations documented processes, standards, meeting minutes and other information
pertaining to the operation of TAO) is treated with industry best practices: “Central Database”, backup-procedures.

 

Taooregon.com will be hosted by proven ISP, with proper assets to insure operation with minimal interruption.

 

Data Repository:

The TAO Website will contain and act as the official membership data repository in accordance with
TAO Bylaws.  Member data will be stored in MS-Excel format and shall be capable of producing
a list using the normal data sort formats.  The Secretary, Vice President and President are authorized access
to this data base.

 

Excel file(s) containing membership data

shall not be accessible to website viewers.

 

The data base will be used as the official mailing tool to communicate with TAO members. 
Labels will be printed using MS-WORD format.

Format & Access:

The Secretary, Vice President and President are authorized and have access to all interim.html
website files through an FTP Client including stored membership files, meeting minutes, TAO Bylaws, etc:

 

Responsibility:

Website program requires maintenance and updates by knowledgeable individuals and as such,
TAO shall retain the services of a professional webmaster when such services can not be provided by
a TAO member.  The Board of Directors will be responsible to ensure such services are available to
update/maintain the website for the enjoyment and enrichment of the general membership.

 

The President Vice President and Secretary are responsible to maintain and update the website
as necessary to ensure the interest and enjoyment of the membership.

 

The Secretary has ultimate responsibility for maintenance of the member data base.  The President
has access and can maintain the member data base in the absence of the Secretary.

 

Webmaster (should one be required) has access to all functions of taoregon.com.
