To outline the procedure for members to request monetary support from TAO.

Policy:

The Traditional Archers of Oregon was formed to represent the interests of traditional archers at the
state level with Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife, Oregon State Police and International Bowhunter
Education Program.  To that end, T.A.O. members are expected to work by volunteering time and
providing financial support to these and other resource management agencies as stated in our Constitution
under ARTICLE I, PURPOSE.

 

Procedure:

Any current member in good standing, wishing to propose donations to such agencies should submit a
Request for Monetary Donations request sheet, to a member of the T.A.O. Executive Committee,
for consideration at the next business meeting of the general membership.

 

Requests with need dates prior to the next business meeting may be presented to any member of the
Board of Directors who will forward to the president.  The president will notify directors for input
and approval in accordance with the By Laws. 

 

Responsibilities:

The requester is responsible to complete and submit the REQUEST FOR MONETARY DONATIONS
form with the request.

 

The Board of Directors is responsible for a timely decision on all requests.

 

The Treasurer is responsible for timely issue of a check in accordance with the request.
